The United Forum of Bank Unions consisting over 9 Lakh of Bank employees went on two day strike demanding wage revision and termination of job outsourcing in banking sector and should stop merger banks. All Banks will remain closed on 24 and 25th September 2008 due to this All India strike. Yesterday there were talks between Indian Banks' Association and United Forum of Bank Unions but failed.
